This Privacy Policy explains how SecuriNav collects, uses and shares information when you visit securinav.com, join our waitlist, start a trial, use the SecuriNav app, or contact us.

1. Who we are

SecuriNav is provided by Smart Biz IT Solutions, LLC, doing business as SecuriNav ("SecuriNav," "we," "us" or "our"), a company based in Michigan, United States.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers:

• our website, securinav.com
• the SecuriNav waitlist
• the SecuriNav app at app.securinav.com, including trials and paid subscriptions
• support and other communications with us

SecuriNav is built for businesses. When we say "you," we mean the person using SecuriNav, usually on behalf of a business.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Waitlist details: your name, email address and business name, plus the time you signed up and the version of the notice you saw.
• Account details: your name, email address and sign-in information, including two-step verification settings if you turn them on.
• Business and workspace information: what you enter about your business, the tools and accounts it uses, the people who work with you and what they can access, your answers to our questions, your security plan, notes, progress and any records or policy drafts you create. We call this "workspace content."
• Information about other people: your workspace may include names, roles and access details for employees, contractors or others you work with. See section 7.
• Billing contact details: the name and email address used for billing, and your subscription status.
• Messages to us: what you send when you email support or ask us a question.

Do not enter passwords, verification codes, recovery codes, private keys or full payment card numbers in your workspace or in messages to us. We do not need them.

Information collected automatically

• Usage information: how you use SecuriNav, such as the pages and features you open, the steps you start and finish, and when. We use this to understand what helps people and to improve SecuriNav.
• Sign-in and session information: to keep you signed in, the app stores sign-in information in your browser.
• Technical and security logs: our systems and providers record basic technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, and dates and times, to run the service, keep it secure and fix problems.
• Bot and abuse protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks browser and device signals to tell people from automated abuse.

Information from others

• Payments: our payment processor tells us whether a payment or trial started or succeeded and the status of your subscription. We do not receive or store your full card number.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

• provide the service, including building your security plan, guides and progress records
• create and secure your account and sign you in
• run trials and subscriptions, including billing and reminder emails before your first charge
• manage the waitlist and invite people to early access
• respond to support requests and privacy requests
• send service messages, such as account, security, billing and trial messages
• send occasional security tips and SecuriNav news, only if you opted in, with a way to unsubscribe in every email
• understand how people use SecuriNav and improve it, using usage information and information that has been combined or de-identified so it no longer identifies you or your business
• protect the service, our users and us from fraud, abuse and security threats
• meet legal obligations and enforce our Terms

Your workspace content is used to provide SecuriNav to you. We do not use your workspace content to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not allow our service providers to do so.

5. What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• We do not use your workspace content to train AI models.
• We do not connect to, scan or change your business tools or accounts. You make changes in your own tools.
• We do not use advertising cookies.

6. How we share information

We share information only as described here.

Service providers that host, store, secure, email and bill on our behalf, under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us:

Others:

• Within your business account: people you invite to your workspace can see the information in it, based on their access.
• Legal and safety: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of SecuriNav, our users or others.
• Business transfers: if SecuriNav or Smart Biz IT Solutions, LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that deal, subject to this policy.
• With your permission: when you ask us to.

7. Information you enter about other people

If you enter information about employees, contractors or others, you are responsible for having the right to share it with us and for telling them where your policies or local law require it. Enter only what you need, such as names, roles and access levels. Do not enter sensitive personal information such as government ID numbers, health details or financial account numbers.

8. Cookies and browser storage

We use browser storage that is needed to run the site and the app, such as keeping you signed in and protecting forms from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.

9. How long we keep information

We may keep information longer when the law requires it, or to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including access controls, two-step verification options and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your choices and rights

You can:

• view and update most of your information in the app
• export your workspace, and delete your workspace and account, from your account settings
• ask us for a copy of your personal information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@securinav.com
• opt out of tips and news at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. You will still receive service messages about your account, security and billing.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as rights to know, access, correct, delete or port your information, to object to or restrict some uses, and not to be treated differently for using them. To make a request, email support@securinav.com. We will verify your identity before acting, and an authorized agent may make a request for you where the law allows. We aim to respond within 30 days. If we deny a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal where the law requires it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

If your information is in a workspace that belongs to a business, we may refer your request to that business.

12. Children

SecuriNav is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Customers outside the United States

SecuriNav is operated from the United States and is designed around United States laws and practices. Our guidance reflects common US security practices and may not cover requirements specific to your country.

Information is stored and processed in the United States. If you use SecuriNav from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. The "Last updated" date shows when it last changed.
